I am having some problems with my mouse cursor, at first I thought it was my
logitech wireless mouse and I got a different wireless microsoft mouse, and
still have the problem. When I go to click on something, sometimes I have to
click above it because it seems as if the mouse is not actually clicking
where the cursor is. Thanks for help

One thing to check is to make sure that the mouse pad is absolutely flat. I
discovered when I was having similar problems that the mouse pad was being
distorted by my keyboard tray and actually was "dished" by about 1/16 on an
inch. Putting the pad on a known flat surface and using the mouse solved the
problem right away.

You could also look in the mouse setup for a setting regarding "precision"
and select that.

This happen to me and others using a Dell computer and ATI video card. The
problem was in the Video driver not the mouse. There was a update appearing
on Windows updates that cured the problem.

you can also go into the mouse options in the control panel and change the
pointers from "Windows Aero" to standard.

How does this change the fact that the ATI driver originally installed is
defective.

Stuart

it doesn't, however I still have some alignment issues, even after upgrading
the ATI driver and this is a sufficient workaround.
