mouse problem

Hi All,
I have a DOS game it worked OK under windows2000 professional,
but when I installed on XP the program works but the mouse doesn't
How do I set the system to make the mouse work on XP?

First check to see whether or not the game manufacturer has an update for the
game to make it XP compatible.
