I have a problem with my mouse. When I press the left
(Click-button) and hold it for more than a second or two,
it then stays pressed until I click again. The button
isn't sticking, it seems not to be recognizing the
Release event. I've tried different mouses, both serial
and USB and all have the same problem. Tried loading
lastest version of software for mouse and that doesn;t
help either. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be
causing the problem ?

Thanks,

I loaded down the latest driver from the NVIDIA web site
for my card (geforce fx5200) but this didn't help. Is
this the only driver I'm limited to or is there another
generic driver you are referring to ?

thanks

Thanks,

Please let me know if you find out anything, my email
address is (e-mail address removed).

P.S. I tried loading down the latest video driver for my
card as suggested here, but that didn't help. I also
worked with Dell for about an hour and they had me
reinstall XP and that didn't help. Now they want me to
wipe out my whole system and reintall the OS. I'm not
doing that.. sounds a bit to drastic.

It mightbe caused by improper mouse configure. Try clear
the CLICKLOCK.
