There MUST be a solution to this problem. Have been
searching the net for two days. See the question posted,
but never a solution.

Has anyone figured this out??

My mouse just started doing this a couple of days ago. No
problems before then. Have been running XP since last
October with no problems. Have not hooked up any new
equipment since Christmas.

Hi, I've had a similar problem with my mouse (Wireless cordless samsung
mouse). I recharged the batteries and tried again on a clean mouse pad, it
worked fine again. good luck

Problem is, she even tried a corded mouse which didn't solve the problem. It
would be nice though for her solution to be your answer. I am assuming she
has tried different mouse pads.

I had a similar erratic/freeze problem on a SOYO motherboard. It turned out
to be the driver for the Highpoint disk controller that was supplied by
SOYO. Downloading and installing the latest driver from Highpoint fixed the
problem. Good Luck - Will
