Mouse pointer

How do I change the mouse pointer. I see it in the list of cursors of
which there are over 200 of them. When I go to Control panel/mouse
and pointers, it is not n there and there are way less selections. I
have used this pointer on older versions of windows and was happy with
it. The pointer I am trying to use is larrow. Thanks
