Mouse Pointer moving Abruptly

Hello All,

I do have a Win XP Pro at home. I have a PS/2 port mouse and Optical USB
mouse.

At first I was using PS/2 port mouse. And when I was using that mouse, the
mouse pointer is moving abruptly, jumping to different locations suddenly.
And sometimes I don’t even see where my mouse is pointing.

I thought my mouse is not working properly. I used another PS/2 port mouse,
and It is also behaving same as my first one. Then I thought the problem
exist with my PS/2 port on my machine.

I brought a new Optical USB mouse. And when I am using this mouse, it is
also behaving similar to above 2 of them.

I don’t know what else should I look for now.

Did anyone face this similar kind of situation?

Can anyone help me with this!
