mouse over video

Everytime when we have a video inside a Powerpoint presentation, it
always starts with a visible hand or cursor on top of it. The video is
started from the animation (Windows XP, Powerpoint XP). Is there a way
to start the video without anything on top, or is there a way to
automatically get rid of the hand/cursor once the video is running?

Kind regards,
Michael Scheck

Michael--
You can go to settings and have the video/movie start
automatically. It should give you that option when you
insert it. Then you won't have to worry about mousing
over it.

That is what I do: Insert the video, then say "yes" to the dialog
asking if I want to start the video automatically. The problem is that
when it starts, the hand appears on top of the video. I want to see
the video without the hand on top. Any ideas?
Michael.

Unfortunately, no. I don't know of any way to start a video without
that stupid cursor as a hand on top of the video. Stay close to the
computer (or use the remote) and move the mouse as soon as the video
starts.

For some videos, it can be rather embarassing/funny -- given the
location of the hand with the one raised finger relative to people in
the video!

Whew! I'm sure glad to know I'm not the only one that has happened to. At
least I know I'm in very good company! ;-))
