Whenever my mouse pointer touches a link (particularly in Microsoft
Outlook as well as MS IE 8 browser) a small balloon opens up giving
me information regarding the link, information THAT I DO NOT WANT.
How can I permanently defeat this annoying process? I have tried MS
FixIt to no avail.
If necessary, I will gladly ALSO give up this (womderful) feature in
all other windows of MS Windows Vista Home Premium.
My main objection is that I cannot direct the placement of these
balloons. They obscure other, more important information. If I were
able to automatically have these balloons appear only at a bottom
corner of the current window, I would be quite willing to submit to
this 'balloon torture.'
