I installed VISTA on home PC that is netwoked to a second home PC that runs XP.
Every mouse movement on the VISTA PC is mimicked on the other XP PC. Any
ideas on how to stop this would be appreciated?

No idea how to cure it but it sounds kinda cool. I'd make a video of it
first. Then check you TCP/IP settings on both machines and make sure
they are all correct for your setup. Do you have other protocols and
services installed that aren't needed?

If they are both wireless, they could be using the same frequency. Had that
happen earlier this year. Two different brand names, even.

isn't technology wonderful?!

Problem now resolved.

Yes it was kinda funny as well, more annoying.

I disconnected the network cable and it was still happening. What this told
me was that I had to reset the two mouse devices which is something I have
not had to do before when networked, so whether this is peculiar to loading
VISTA I cannot tell.
