Mouse not recognized when it's cold...

Anyone familiar with the following rather strange problem?

When it's cold in my room (<= 17 C), my (Logitech USB) mouse
isn't recognized when I start the computer. When it is warmer,
there is never a problem.

When it is _not_ recognized, I can unplug it, and then re-plug
it again, after which it will work. Even when it's cold...

The problem is not with the mouse: another mouse has the same
problem.

I get rather fed up with crawling under my desk every morning.
Does anyone know a solution? (other than "wait for summer"...)

Tom

Check for updated motherboard chipset drivers and/or USB drivers, if any.

If the above does not help, buy a powered USB hub and place it on your desk.
At least you will not have to crawl.

Knit your mouse a tiny little sweater to keep it warm.
