Mouse moving around screen

My mouse moves around the screen by itself. While it is
moving it is also right clicking at the same time. I have
scanned for virus's and also ran spybot, I don't have any
virus's and no one in my machine.

Try another mouse. If it works the first has failed. If it is a wired
mouse, it is very likely to be a shorted cable. If the refresh rate of
the display adapter is set to an unsupported value, it might also be a
suspect. If it is an Intellimouse, try updating to version 5. If
Pointer Precision is checked, uncheck that an see if that helps. First
suspect failed mouse though.

Also, if this is a laptop with a touchpad, disable the touchpad. Hand
pressure on either side of the touchpad had been implicated in mouse
irregularities on some laptops.

The problem was a bad mouse driver.
