My Natural Keyboard Pro works fine with no installation of drivers. All of
the buttons work! My Intellimouse Explorer can't use it's 5 buttons and I'm
needing them bad. Is there anyway to get Intelimouse to work in Vista?

My IntelliMouse Wireless Optical 2.0 works ok in Vista RC1.

However, my Wireless Optical Desktop Deluxe software
(IntelliKey/Intellipoint 5.5) refuses to work in Vista RC1. In fact,
it will not work in any version of Vista.

While my Mouse works as it should, all the special keys on my
Microsoft Desktop Elite Deluxe keyboard are not available. The media
keys are available, and the back/forward buttons, and the scroll wheel
works. The F-lock key works, as do the special commands on the top of
the top row. None of the other special keys work, however.

This is really a shame. When is Microsoft going to upgrade this
software so we can use our MICROSOFT HARDWARE???

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me get them
working. I really miss my special keys.

I have a MS Wireless Natural Multimedia Keyboard and the Wireless
Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 that came with it. Mouse works OK but keyboard
extra buttons and keys don't work cause Vista don't install software and/or
drivers for it.

MS don't have no updates yet on their sites from I can see. You would think
they would have updates for it as it is a product of their's and should be
able to get it up to par with their OS.

The website now indicates that drivers will be available in December for
Intellipoint and type.

Apparently, Microsoft does not plan on updating the Mouse/keyboard
drivers until December, when they launch their new mice and keyboards
for Vista.

However, I have since been able to get my Intellipoint/Intellitype 5.5
software working. All my special keys are now available. However,
each time I use the Microsoft software provided I must tell a dialog
to run the software even though Vista says it is not compatible. Of
course, it is possible to tell the dialog not to appear again.

In addition, the Wireless keyboard setting always shows the keyboard
as having a low signal quality (even with fresh batteries, and my
keyboard being only a few inches away from the base-station.

The Mouse Wireless setting shows it as having a good signal quality,
however.
