mouse highlights cells and no information can be entered

Help! my spreadsheet seems to be locked that when I enter a cell the mouse
will only highlight and drag to other cells. I can't enter information, or
exit excel.

Try banging the scroll wheel on your mouse or re-install the drivers

Hi, I am having the same problem! I have to reboot, then it works for a few moments then back to the same. If you find the solution please e-mail me with it at (e-mail address removed) with "excel problom" as the subject, Thanx in advance, Doug
