Yes, I have had the 'Comet Cursor' experience on other people's
computers, usually while trying to clean out a couple dozen other
browser hijackers and popup spawners. CursorXP is another thing
entirely, and while not technically freeware. It is neither neccesary;
nothing beyond any version of Windows is required to use these.
