Hello,

We have a Micron ClientPro machine with Widows 2000 Pro where the mouse
cursor icon appears to be missing or corrupted. This is the icon that looks
like a capital I. Instead of the I a rectangle with an intricate pattern
appears.
Does anyone know how to restore this icon?

Any help would be appreciated.

Does "Control Panel\Mouse Properties\Pointers" give the same icon? I
suppose that it is your "Text Select" icon that has the problem. What
happens if you press Browse, go to "C:\WINNT\Cursors" and selects another
one? I would believe that beam_m.cur is the default one.

If this icon is corrupt, you should be able to expand the icon from your
Win2000 CD. See this MS Knowledge Base article about the expand command:

Thank you Bjorn,

Yes, it looks like it is the "Text Select" cursor.
I will give the expansion from the CD a try.

Ragnat
