Hi-I have a standard mouse. WHat I dont like, is when I am selecting several
pictures/files so as to move them, or do whatever with them AND becuase the
timing is off, I end up making several copies of these files.
How can I disable this function in my WIndows XP home sp2 edition.

The duplication happens because the hand is not as steady as one would
want. Turn down the sensitivity of your mouse in the Mouse applet in
Control Panel. Another way to manage this is to use the right-context
menu. Select as usual with the left mouse button - holding down Shift
to select multiple contiguous files or Ctrl to select multiple
non-contiguous files. Then right-click anywhere in the selected files
and choose your option from the context menu - copy, move, delete, etc.
Or once selected, use the File Menu to make your changes.
