Mouse Click Problem

I'm having a problem with my mouse of when I left click, it does not always
register that I clicked, so I have to click again. Is this a sign that my
mouse is going dead?

An easy way to find out is to attach a different mouse to the computer.
If you don't have any problems, then you know the original mouse is
failing. Hardware doesn't last forever.
