Mouse Click Laggy

I have a Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer

When I'm in the middle of playing a game called Counter-
Strike when I click the small button on the mouse which I
have binded to "jump" it does not happen right away. It
jumps about 2 seconds after I click.
 
Could be more game than you have power to run efficient. What is the game
and what are you running it on..?
