I have 30+ objects functioning properly when I set up their animation. I
however, have now assigned two objects to be set on a motion path and they
appear at the start of the slide and don't go away until their animation
appears later on in the slide. How do i get them to disappear at the
beginning of the slide?

Add an "appear" animation to the object and set it to occur just before (or
at the same time as) the beginning of its motion path.

Just remember that a motion path does not equal "appear and move," and you
should be okay.

Make sense?

Churley,
That's very bizarre behavior that I cannot reproduce here even if I do
things the wrong way. Wait a minute. Are you turning the gridlines
back on in Excel? That would do it and the only thing I can think of.
