Hi
I have a new AMD2800, 7vm400m-rz motherboard, onoard graphics.
The problem is the text display on the PC is weak, a bit faded.
I have the latest drivers installed and have used clear type to no avail as
it blurs it too much with a green tinge. Clear type download was no good
either.

Would a better motherboard help, or a video card help to darken the text to
give it a normal look.

The PC shop didnt sound too keen in helping me out much as they just
suggested brightness/contrast which didnt help.
 
Is the monitor properly setup and in good condition?

yes the monitor is in excellent condition
 
If you have an LCD, it is supposed to run at it's specified resolution. My
19" monitor looks great at 1280x1024, but looks less than stellar at other
resolutions.

Try the monitor with another known good computer. If the picture looks good
on that computer, then you know it's your vid card or mobo. If it looks bad
on the other computer, then the monitor is hosed.

My, answering several of my posts with the same intelligent
response...what's the matter? Is your mother not feeling well and not
letting you slip her your little willy? Must be the case...you have so
much time to post such useless crap.

BTW, I don't see you answering any posts at all.
