Call the bomb squad, motherboards do not beep at random.
If you can describe what you are hearing and what you are
doing at the time, you may get some help. Mobo beeps during
the boot process before the operating system loads because
that is the only method to pass along any information about
hardware failures. After the system boots, you would expect
to get a error or warning popup.
Do you have any clock or timer programs set to alert you to
dates or appointments? Does your email program
automatically check for new email and is it set to make a
noise to let you know when there is a new message?
