Hi
I have been given a motherboard with a Intel chipset, Its a P4 1.2G.The
chip
.. The chip set is fw82801db, the pc is running fine. how ever I can't
find
find graphic drivers for it, in 2000 and xp they just install VGA
drivers for it.
.. I think the board is from a HP or dell desktop.

Thanks in advance

fw82801db is the Southbridge on the motherboard and is ICH4. That
doesn't say which Northbridge is used. The Northbridge could be
an 845G for example, at least based on this old chart.

http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/mature/index.htm

The place to look for drivers would be:

http://downloadfinder.intel.com

Use the menu on the left hand side of the page.
Select Graphics:Desktop_Graphics_Controllers and then
select your Northbridge type, like 845G. That should
lead you to a driver.

If you download this tool, and select the "Mainboard" tab
when executing it, the "Chipset" field will tell you the
Northbridge.

There is an example here of a CPUZ window, where
the Northbridge is Nforce4.

Just go to Intel's website...
they have drivers for all their chipsets

With that little information that you have, all you can do is install the
VGA driver. And it sounds like that works fine.
