How can I find out what motherboard I have in my computer?
Is there somewhere I can read the information from the computer?

Didn't you get the Motherboard manual when you got the computer?

I don't think the OS cares what motherboard it is (provided that it works)
so OS won't be able to tell you.

Some ROM-BIOS will show some info. on boot-up. Watch the screen when you
boot up your PC.

BTW, I posted to the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for Microsoft
Access, a database application. Suggest you find an appropriate hardware
newsgroup and re-post your question

You might get a more detailed answer in a more relevant newsgroup, George.
This newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Access, the database
program.

That said, to the best of my knowledge, if the information is not provided
in any documentation that came with the PC, I don't believe there is any way
to find it short of physically opening the case and looking for a
manufacturer's label on the motherboard..

Just open the case and look around the motherboard. The model and
manufacturer should be printed on the board itself.
