Why not just get a new NIC? They cost around $10 now, you know.

Supermicro... www.supermicro.com, and look for distributor in your
country... They have some single-P4 boards with ISA slots... And, quality is
one of the highest in the world (1st in server/workstation sales in USA)...

Don't know how "modern" you need to be. My Abit VH6T has one ISA slot and will
accoodate PIII CPU's. I've seen many boards lately that can use P4s with
several ISA slots. Have a look on Google.

Since my last post I found this:

http://www.technoland.com/ Industrial P4 with 3 ISA slots.

Ignore jerks like "Sideways", whose only reason for posting is to tell
you that you don't need what you're inquiring about! With a cute name
like Cyde Weys, we shouldn't expect more.

calypso's source may be another good one.

Or a TYAN S2390. Can be bought on ebay for about $20-30. I had one for a
year with no problems.
