Hi, I have just upgraded my system with a new Gigabyte
875P Chipset motherboard with Intel P4 2.8G CPU 800 FSB
However when I try to boot up the system, part way through
the windows XP Pro load it reboots itself and trys again.
Any Suggestions please, do I need to reinstall windows?

Thanks Pat,
I see you message, fortunately I dual boot and I have my
Win ME working fine. Still working on the Xp Problem.
Will let you know if I resolve it.

Mark;
A Repair Installation is normally required to properly detect the new
hardware after a motherboard replacement:

Windows Updates will need to be reloaded.

This may not be possible if Windows XP is OEM.

Hi Again,

Solved my poblems with repair install. Just a hassle
having to re-activate and redownload all the patchs.

Trap I fell into with the first attemps to run a repair
install is that I was choosing the wrong options.

Thanks for advise.
