Dear List,

I am trying to source a m/b which has at least one 16 bit ISA slot which
will accept an AMD XP2000 CPU.

I'd appreciate any suggestions of either new or second hand m/b.

Regards,
Chris

I didn't think there were any Athlon XP boards that support legacy ISA.
Could be wrong though. What do you want to run in that ISA slot?

MSI K7T Turbo2 (MS-6330).
Can't be sure that ALL of them had the ISA slot, since the
picture on MSI's website shows only the spot on the PCB but no
ISA slot installed, but I used to have one and it did have the
slot on it... which did work of course.

Not sure if there are any Athlon XP supportive chipsets that can
use DDR memory though, above board is a KT133A chipset based, so
other KT133A based boards might also have an ISA slot. Going
further back in time there were plenty of PC133 memory based
boards that had ISA slot(s) but only supported 100MHz FSB,
couldn't run an Athlon XP at even default speed unless you have
an unlocked chip and the board has multiplier adjustment options,
and even so it's definitely a few percent slower running an
XP2000 from 100MHz FSB, ignoring that it's not DDR memory.

It give a list of those that were made, but not a list of where they can
currently
be purchased. That is not useful for his purposes.

So he needs to do his own work and get the model numbers listed and go
search for them on ebay... Jesus people...
