Hello guys!!I would like to buy a further hard disk but i
dont know if this will be compatible withmy system
because it is something like 3-4 years old.....the
motherboard model is Intel Desktop Board D815EEA and
currently i have a 20gb western digital (7200rpm).What is
the maximum capacity that i can get in order to be
compatible with the whole system?

Many thanks in advance guys...keep doing this great job,u
are very helpful!!

Some (maybe all) newer drives do not like running as a slave to an older
one.. it is not so much a question of age as type.. depending upon the size
that you choose, you may have formatting issues which somebody will be able
to advise you about at the time..

Only the motherboard manufacturer can tell you for sure what is the max
capacity for a hard drive. Also, some manufacturers publish BIOS updates
for their motherboard and sometimes they increase the max hard drive size.
