Mother of All ppt-templates

Where does PPT hide 'the' template for PowerPoint? I know that Word has
"Normal.dot", but I don't recall where PowerPoint's is (or what it's
named....)

Hi Chaz,

If your intention is to customize the "default" design for PowerPoint,
PowerPoint 2003 has an extremely cool NEW feature to make this much easier.

1) Create and save a custom design
2) In the Slide Design task pane, find your custom design in the "Available
for Use" section of the task pane
3) Click on the drop-down menu for the design thumbnail and choose "Use for
All New Presentations"

Now, each time you create a new presentation it will, by default, use the
design that was selected in step #3 above.
