I keep getting a "mort.exe - application error" box saying
a memory could not be written - click ok to terminate.
Where is this coming from and how do I clear it up?

Searching the web to figure out what Mort.exe is I find several references to it being used with/by viruses. I would search
the system for the file Mort.exe to see if the folder it is located in helps determine why it is one the system. I would also use
a current anti-virus to scan the system to make sure we do not have a virus.

You may want to search the web for yourself on Mort.exe and look at some of the information available on it.
