Morpher
(snip)

"Morpher for Windows is a share ware. You may distribute this product
on a non-profit basis. You are permitted to use it on a trial basis
for up to 20 days. If you wish to continue using the product beyond
that period, you are expected to pay a share ware fee of US$20 or
Japanese 2000 Yen or other currency (equivalent value)."

I *never* download a program without being able to read a little about
it and using a direct link to an executable is begging for a virus
infection. Probably an unauthorized distribution of the earlier
version, since this site:

http://www.morpheussoftware.net/morpheus/

only lists version 1.85 and the site says "Download the free
evaluation version today or buy Morpheus for just $29.95 and you'll
always be able to create amazing morphs!"
Not sure if the "free evaluation" version times out or is crippled,
since the download is an self installing executable package and I'm
not willing to install it just to find out.

Freeware (actually donationware with an initial nagscreen that it
looks like you can easily disable, but oh well.)
Winmorph (already noted in another post)
http://www.debugmode.com/winmorph/

The king. Six out of six rubber duckies at Nonags, strangely listed on
the "video tools" page though. I don't understand why this never made
it to the Pricelessware page. Also, I don't understand why it's not
listed at S.O.S.'s site.

Thanks John,

The Morpher site just has the first two sentences - which seemed to fit
with the notes I had - that it was free for personal use. Downloaded the
zip version and found the shareware notes there. More than a bit sneeky
IMHO.

FWIW my info came from a post to ACF a while back:

<q>
All new versions are heavily restricted shareware, but you can get the
last of the freeware versions from

http://members.tripod.com/tykeuk/HTMLobj-152/Morpheus-175.exe

I knew there was another good one, couldn't think of the name last
night. . . it's BitMorph - Pricelessware in 2001 & 2002, listed at SOS's
site - but . . . DL link gave me a 404 - I found a couple of other
links - no luck with those either . . . file name is BitMorph3.exe or
bitmorph.exe - v 3 (1.1 MB)

SoS is sooooooooo fast and I'm sooooooo stupid, I meant to look at
REMbranded's site and forgot:

<q>
Wounded Moon stocks it:
http://woundedmoon.org/win32/bitmorph30.zip

I did not see the earlier posts in this thread, but in case it has not been
mentioned here's a good morphing program:

SmartMorph http://meesoft.logicnet.dk

Looks like a good one, Frank. And:

"This program is freeware and can be used and copied freely if the
following conditions are accepted:
· I (Michael Vinther) or MeeSoft can not in any way be held
responsible for any damage or loss caused by using this program.
· The program can be distributed as long as it is not modified and
this text file is included."
