Since my "Windows 7 email program?" query (below) has 56 messages so far, I
believe that I'm not alone in my bewilderment regarding W7 email choices.
I'd prefer the Windows Mail hack, but links not working is a deal-breaker
(and the never-fixed Windows Mail bugs make me not feel bad about leaving
it).
I find "Windows Live Mail repugnant. (I don't mean to offend Live Mail
enthusiasts - I just have different preferences)
Since Thunderbird appears to use a screen layout similar to Net Express (how
I wish I could go back to Net Express!) I will probably like it. It's been
around long enuf that it probably doesn't have serious bugs.
Will someone who uses it and has experience with multiple levels of folders
and a great quantity of messages please give me your personal review? I'm
trying to test it now, but I cannot change the currently incorrect "Outgoing
Server (SMTP) - I'll track that down.
TIA, Paul
