More than SUS

I noticed that Norton AntiVirus Corporate will use the AD to install client
anit-virus spftware on AD aware machines from a Norton AntiVirus server.
Since then I've been looking for a way to deploy other applications in the
same way. I have used the internal updater SUS for critical updates. But
if Symantec is able to use the active directory in such a robust manner, I'm
sure that I could as well. I've also dabbled in WMI and ADSI scripting.
Cand the WMI and ADSI be used for advanced deployment?

Norton AV Corporate edition does not use AD to distribute installs or virus
definitions.

You can use NAV Corporate with NT 4.0 and get the same results.
