How can I install more than 2 eide drives into my computer system? I've
heard that only 2 at a time are possible. EIDE's are cheaper and since I
bought a digital camcorder I would like to store the videos on disk so I can
reuse the tapes.

Most mainboards have two IDEinterfaces, each of which can take 2 IDE
devices, so theoretically you could have 4 running.

In practice
though, you've probably got a CDrom on one channel, and you don't want
to put a hdd on the same channel, it'll run slow.

I don't believe this holds true with any of the newer systems :-)

Your motherboard has two or more IDE channels, with a Master and Slave for
each. If you have 4 IDE or ATAPI devices already, you'll need an add-on PCI
controller.
