I have found that adding more RAM makes a larger Swap file ????
Shouldn't it get smaller as I add more RAM? I know the swap file
takes the place of Ram when it's needed, so why is it working
backwards and making the swap file larger?
For the actual readings, I had 128megs of Ram, I just added another
128 megs. This is for Windows98.

Manually set it to a fixed size. For 256mbs, I would set it to around
600mbs. Right click on My Computer/Properties and it should be there
somewhere. It has been a long time since I used W98.

why worry about the swap file size? your using win 98, had the worst virtual memory
control than any of the others.
