More icons on quick launch bar

The Quick Launch bar in Win98 could be sized to dislay
all of the icons placed there. In XP, only 3 icons are
displyed. How can I increase the area of the Quick launch
bar so that more icons (I put 5 there) are displayed? I
know if I click the chevron, the other icons are
displayed. Any help would be appreeciated.

right click on the taskbar and uncheck "Lock Taskbar" now it's just like
Win98.

This may seem like a dumb question, but how do you move just the Quick
Launch bar to the left edge? I've tried to drag it locked and
unlocked.

Make sure it's unlocked, then click on a blank part of it, and
drag it.

All windows have to be minimized in order to move it.
