more help for ActiveX and forms

Thanks, Suzanne. I've got this part worked out. However, protecting the form disables typing in the table. I simply need to create a table with ActiveX controls that opens up WITHOUT being in design mode (protect it) but a protected form doesn't allow typing.

So am I stuck with a form that requires people to disable or close design mode every time they open it? This is problematic because not everyone knows how to do that.

THANKS!

ActiveX controls (from the Control Toolbox) and Form fields (from the Forms
toolbar) are not compatible. You have to use one or the other. When using
the former, you have to reduce Word's Security level from High to at least
Medium so that you get a chance to enable macros.

Thanks, Jezebel. I protected the form and saved but this creates another
problem: when I open the form, the check boxes can't be clicked nor can
words be typed into the table.

An ActiveX form should not be protected, only one with form fields inserted
from the Forms toolbar.
