Well, update.microsoft.com is the new adress for all MS updates,
worldwide for all languages.

Cheers ! on a Tuesday ? ;)

Ben laid this down on his screen :

I noticed the same and nothing was dowloaded or installed.

Try manual update:

update.microsoft.com

It is Windows update, version 6, just released.

Aha, every time I have visit an english pub it was a lot of cheers ;)

One pint of lager, please.......... cheers..... ;)

Did you try update.microsoft.com ? it is v6, brand new, update
Windows, Office,
SQL Server and Exchange Server on the same place.

By extremely fast, I don't mean that it just zipped by.
Just that it was very fast. The window showed each item
being dowloaded after which it showed each item being
installed, after which I rebooted. Update History shows
all items as "successful", as does my update log.

"Where do you want to go today ?"

update. where ? microsoft.com of course

And it works but I believe that MS are not ready for this
with everything about loadbalance and where to get updates.

If I use update.microsoft.com > redirected to
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate

of course also after new updated ActiveX modules, unknown for MSAS ;)

Microsoft Microsoft Update Web Control
This is an unknown ActiveX

File path: c:\windows\system32\muweb.dll
