Monitoring and stopping registry access

Hi, I've recently bought a well know game, the game use a cd-key to
connect to a master server to let you play online.

I'm afraid that some "malware" could steal my cd-key.

Anyone know of a program that can monitor and restrict access to a
particular registry key??
The restriction should be by software not by user (like normal registry
ACL allow)

If you are using Windows 2K/XP/NT simply disable the Remote Registry
Service. It shouldn't be on anyway.
