Hey...
I have a 19 inch monitor....and I just installed XP home
edition....and everything is very tiny!!!....how do I
make everything bigger (icons, text,
EVERYTHING!)????.....please help....I am not good with
all that pixel stuff!!

Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. Select the Settings tab
and slide the slider to the left. For a 19 inch CRT monitor, your resolution
should be set at 1280 X 1024 pixels, although some prefer 1024 X 768.

If they want to make things bigger, shouldn't they lower the resolution? Say
800 x 600?

On a 19" monitor, one would think 800x600 would be going a little
far......... would look like shit. I personally would not drop it to
more than 1024x768 for that size of monitor. If the icons are still
too small, they could always use the "large icons" option.

I agree completely. I have a 19" and run at 1024x768...but she did say
everything was too small. Maybe she is at 800x600 and she meant there isn't
enough screen space.
