I running xp home. Just replace video card now when my montior is idle it go
into self test mode. Ever thing else working fine
 
Did you bother to install the latest drivers for the new video card. They
are on the CD that came with the card and/or check the manufacturer's web
site.
 
I have install up to date drivers
