Monitor Vidieo Won't Come Back

After the monitor has gone into the Power Save condition because
of activity timeout, it will not come back when the mouse is moved
or the keyboard used. Everything else seems to be still operating
normally. About the only safe option I have found it to use keyboard
commands "Windows Key">u>Enter to restart the system. I'm avoiding
the Reset or Power buttons on the computer to prevent possible disk
corruption.

Does anyone have any ideas about the cause of this?

Regards,
Mike

Check that you have the correct (latest) graphics adapter and monitor
drivers (from manufacturer's web site) installed.

Seems the latest drivers are -causing- the problem. I reverted to the
original drivers on the Motherboard CD and now it's OK. Strange

Glad to hear it's sorted.
