Hi,

I'm looking to hook up 2 monitors to an XP box, each containing the
same display. My client will have the monitors on 2 different tables
and want them to show the same content........

How can this be done? I do not want to 'extend' the desktop. I want
the same contect on both monitors....

Thanks!

Yes, you can do this. Most newer nVidia / Ati video cards can "clone"
the displays.

You may also want to look at a video display splitter switch box:

Do I need a splitter box?  Or can I just use 2 seperate monitors, with
2 seperate video cables.  Each one hooked to a different port on the
card.......

As I posted to my first point, yes if you are using the newer video
cards that are "separate" add-on cards and not "built-in" to the
motherboards. I can not state for certain on the other manufacturers,
but I have successfully used nVidia and ATi based video cards for this
before
