I recently resetted to factory settings for my Dell LCD 17" flat panel
monitor to fix a problem in which the screen was too big. That problem
is now fixed, except now my monitor's color settings are totally
screwed up. I asked friends and used their settings, but none of them
look right. I had a very bright screen, but when i put 100 all for RGB
it appears bluish. What setting should I use?

The brightness control should be used to adjust this setting. Use the on-screen control buttons on the front of the monitor.

I do use that. There is no brightness control. The only thing that
seems to work is the RGB. There is no contrast control either.

nevermind i found it

i put RGB on normal and put the brightness to high and it looks normal

Great! Glad you got the problem sorted. :)

The controls on my monitor are so confusing. They have a menu, and they
should stick brightness and contrast in that menu, but they dont.
Instead, they put brightness and countrast as the minus button, which i
never press unless im in the menu. So its a really messed up UI.
