monitor problem

My Dell monitor has developed a peculiar problem. When the power saving
comes on instead of staying black it cycles through blue, red, green,
yellow, cyan, magenta, white and back to black. The cycle then starts again
and again. I have done a full Norton's virus scan and a system restore to
no avail.

Problem solved. I restored my monitor to its factory settings.
