monitor only displays 3/4 of screen

the other day i had to turn my monitor on its side to fix the monitor stand and now it only displays 3/4 of my sreen. ive search and called emachine but i still don't know if its something i diid or a virus or i need to update something please help meeeeee?
 
Most monitors have a row of buttons on the bezel (the plastic enclosure),
usually just underneath the screen. Those buttons control, among many other
things, the size of the image on the screen. You'll find a button there that
will fill your screen with the image.
