Monitor not detected properly

I have tried upgrading from ME to 2000 Pro. 2000 Pro does
not recognize my monitor, and so I have 16 colors and
600x800 resolution. I have read the KnowledgeBase
article, but cannot implement that solution because when I
follow the path
Properties
Settings
Advanced
Monitor

the next step is to click on "Properties," and that button
is grayed out.

Help! where do I find the appropriate updated driver, and
how do I download it?

What video card do you have ?? You need to load the W2K
drivers for it.

There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000
