Hi there,
does anybody know if there is a way to manual focus a Nec P1150 ?

The manual says that there is an automatic system that constantly get the
best focus but at 1280x1024@75Hz it is not the case.
Already checked all the Moire, Vertical and Horizontal pincushion but the
problem is actually focus.

I see that on the right side (looking at the screen) of the monitor there
are 2 holes supposedly leading to two trimmers. Before touching that I would
appreciate somebody telling me what they are.

Where can I eventually find an electrical schema of that monitor ?

Thanks

These holes are used for trimming te focus. Use a plastic trimtool or
screwdriver, or remove the backcover so that you can see what you are
doing. USE CAUTION, the monitor has to be turned on if you want to trim
te focus

I doubt that a scematic would help, most manufacturars won't give the
schematics but try google, you might get lucky

Bedankt Christiaan,
I tried but the problem seems finally more related to the refresh rate.
Strangely enough, from a certain freq on the quality of the image gets
worse.
When going up with the refr. rate the monitor starts showing a lack of
focus and particularly it shows a shadowy edge on the right sides of all
the vertical straight line (windows frame, menu frames, etc)

Although the monitor and the card (radeon 7500) can reach 100Hz at
1024x768, the best refresh rate is 85Hz

The 1280 x 1024@70Hz is a way better than 75Hz or 85Hz even if some
flickering effect starts.

The 1600 x 1200@60 has less double image than @75Hz but flickering in
unbearable.

Does anybody have any explanation to that ?
