Hi all,

When my computer goes in sleep mode, the monitor goes to sleep as
well. Thing is when I wake up the computer, the monitor still sleep.
What I have to do is shut the monitor off then open it. Sometimes it
works, sometime I have to let cool down a bit (5 min) then re open it.

Does someone know what make that happen and how to fix it ?

How long are you waiting for the screen to come back on? My IIyama Vision
Master pro454 19"CRT isn't instant - it can take several seconds before it
realises there is a signal, then another few seconds for the tube to warm up
and display come back on.

Hi, my monitor is a Acer AL1706 LCD. I know what you mean with yours,
but mine its a different thing.
I really have to turn the power off then on. If I don't do that, the
light will flash orange and will never open up.
Sorry if it sounds strange, English is not my primary language.
It looks like, it looses the connection between computer and monitor,
and when I turn off and on, it does a kind of syncronisation with the
pc...

weird thanks for your help

I had exactly the same issue with an Acer F20.
Solved by setting the PC sleep time shorter than the LCD power-off time
in Power Options.
