I just got a 19 inch envision monitor for xmas.I like it except I can
see a flicker in it sometimes are most of those situation elec.
Interference ??? being it is xmas I have indoor and outdoor lights on
it was more noticable when i was making dinner before use 2 elec
appliances. My guess is that it is elec is there anything I can do to
help block it and would a different monitor react differently ???

Thanks !!!

Right click on desktop, select properties, settings, Advanced, Monitor and
see if you can increase the refresh rate - the default is most likely
60MHz - if this is the only setting, then you may need to download and
install the monitor drivers from the manufacturers web site. A setting of
85MHz or higher is preferred on the old CRT (Cathode Ray Tubes), most
LCD/Plasma will only run at 60/75 MHz, but they don't use the RGB guns like
CRT does.

Try turning off all electrical appliances and intermittent lighting that may
be on the same circuit as your PC and see if you still have the flickering
problem. If there is no problem, use a different circuit for the PC.
