XP home SP2. I've recently upgraded to a 64bit processor. When I enter my
password at the logon screen, sometimes my screen will go blank and slowly
drain of all colour leaving a milky white appearance. Aprat from this the
machine runs fine and the affect is very ad-hoc.

I'm not sure if its an incompatibility with my older graphics card which is
PCI based on my PCI express board.

thoughts anyone please?

Thanks

Steve.

Then youre running a 32 bit junk PCI video card with maybe 4 pipelines on
a 64 bit OS that usually runs from PCI express 64 bit with 16 pipelines. You
went
forward with 64,but went to the stoneage in video card.
